Description
Entry Qualification.
Entry Qualification.
Holder of form IVNI with Diploma/ FTC in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, water supply Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution. Must have computer application skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares documentation of all water customers.
Ensures that all water leakages are repaired timely.
Investigates causes of water loss and makes necessary rectification
Monitors and reports unauthorized water connections and water distribution faults.
Ensures that all customers get water supplies according to the rationing programme.
Conducts open performance review and appraisal of subordinates and gives feedback.
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.
Performs any other duties as may be assigned supervisor

Follows up supply contracts and ensures contracts are honored
Identifies contract defaulters and reports to manage for further action
Produces monthly returns on status of ordered goods.
Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.

Holder of Form IVNI with Diploma or at least Trade Test grade III in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operates the water pumps according to agreed schedules and ensures that the right quantity of water is pumped from the storage tanks.Carries out service and maintenance of water pumps, dosing pumps, water filters and gate valves.Monitors availability of electricity and record on electricity power failure.Ensures that the required dosage of chlorine/chemicals is administered according to the required standards.Makes rain gauge readings at established time intervals.Develops individual performance objectives, targets and standards in consultation with the immediate superior as part of performance agreement.Performs any other duties as may be assigned may be assigned by supervisor
