Manager Properties & Premises
The incumbent is responsible for overall real estate strategy, facilities planning, forecast (long range &
tactical), acquisition/disposal, lease administrations, workspace planning, allocation and management, engineering planning and design.


Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement short and long term space planning requirements and high performance workplace strategies.

Gather and analyze space requirements and provide conceptual space plans/test-fits along with furniture specifications leveraging knowledge of architectural design and organizational standards.

Develop and implement workspace strategies and solutions that support corporate objectives.

Provide “what if” strategic space scenarios at the request of management.

Work directly with key stakeholders to obtain workspace programming requirements.

Optimize space efficiencies through design and test fits; manage office changes and fit –out projects.

Identify and address organizational, operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts.

Produce and maintain reports and other documents as required, providing design details and workspace information for all offices.

Point of contact for all workplace changes and furniture requirements.

Create robust end-to-end processes for managing workplace projects/programs in collaboration with project management team.

Enforce workspace policies/procedures and escalate client requested exceptions to policy.

Manage capital allocations related to workspace projects (office new fit out and renovation projects).

Eliminate furniture inventories through re-allocation, planning and planned disposal for office workspace management.

Ensure all bank premises have valid contracts and advise HQ on their renewals.

Manage office workspace statutory issues and ensure all statutory obligations are paid.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction management, Building survey, Housing and Infrastructure planning, Land Management & valuation, Property & Facilities management, or related field.

At least 7 years of experience in workspace planning, facility utilization, and/or project management for a large, multi-site corporation; 2 years being on a managerial role.
