DAR ES SALAAM: Minister of Health, Social Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, Dr. Ummy Teacher denies the existence of transmission of Ebola disease in Tanzania.
Speaking to journalists today in Dar es Salaam, said no one had feared nor proven to be infected by Ebola in the country.
He also said that the government is careful to make sure all the people who entered the country's borders, especially occurring in the Democratic Republic of Congo, are tested for their health.
Ummy Minister has said that distributing special machines available on the country's borders and that if anyone will be suspected of having the disease, they have adequate training for doctors and managers of border posts on what to do.
He also explained that there is a specific procedure to fill out a form to show that everyone who entered the country from the countries with the explosion of the deadly disease, has been tested and is safe health.
With regard to the saga of a woman allegedly stolen her baby at Temeke Hospital, Minister Ummy said after her refusal to report the great healer showing that they have twins, he decided to create a special committee itakayohusisha panel of experts which will issue a response within 14 days.
