The government has reiterated that legal actions will be taken against people, who leak examinations as it assured the Parliament all loopholes for leakage of examinations have been sealed. Responding to a question in the Parliament on Friday Minister for education, science, technology and vocational training Prof Joyce Ndalichako said some of those, who were involved in examination leakages are now facing legal actions. She was responding to a supplementary question from Busega Member of Parliament (MP) Mr Raphael Chegeni (CCM), who sought government’s statement on leakage of examinations. In the main question posed to the ministry, Kahama Urban Member of Parliament


(MP), Jumanne Kishimba (CCM) suggested that instead of testing pupils and students through the final national examination it was high time the government considered the continuous assessment. However, the deputy minister for Education Science, Technology and Vocational Training, Engineer Stella Manyanya insisted that the current system was based on thorough assessment of pupils and students by considering both the continuous assessment and the final examinations.
