1. BANCASSURANCE MANAGER
Reporting to Head-Retail Banking, the incumbent shall plan, manage, lead and direct the Bancassurance business across all the Bank’s touch points, to achieve set business targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Marketing of all insurance products (Life & General).
· Ensure appropriate Bancassurance Structure.
· Develop and execute an overall Business Plan
· Active management of relationships with all insurance partiners
· Periodic reporting of Bancassuraance financials
· Ensuring Compliance with Local Insurance regulations, policies and procedures.
· Manage marketing programmes in line with business objectives (premiums, commissions, product type, number of policies).
· Train Marketing Officers on Bancassurance products
· Responsible for all reporting a required by the regular – TRA/in-house/ etc.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s Degree holder with relevant insurance certification.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
· At least 5-10-year experience in the Insurance Industry of which 3 to 5 years at a Managerial level.
· Good understanding of Insurance market in Tanzania and Local laws governing Insurance
· Excellent management skills in sales teams
· Strong commercial acumen, people & project management skills
ASSISTANT MANAGER – RECRUITMENT /CAREER DEVELOPMENT/ KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Reporting to Head – Human Resources, the incumbent is responsible for Manpower Planning, Training and Performance Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Recruitment & Selection - responsible for recruitment meeting the Bank’s skills requirements
· Learning & Development - develop and implement capacity building initiatives / formulate the annual training plan.
· Performance Management - Managing the Bank’s Performance Management system.
· Liaise with Heads of Department to implement a career and succession planning matrix for every department.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA in Human Resources / Organizational Development will be an added advantage.
· A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
· Minimum of four (4) years in HR, out of which 2 years should be in a bank.
· Responsibilities in Training / Performance Management for at least 2 years in a bank.
· Experience / expertise in performance management systems will be a key selection criteria
· Strong presentation and good communication skills both written & verbal.
3. OFFICER – IT SECURITY
Reporting to Head – IT security, the incumbent is responsible to manage the Bank’s Information Security resources (people and systems) to obtain optimal return on investments and bring the organisation’s information security risks under explicit management control through the Information Security Management System (Information Security framework, policies, standards, procedures, and supporting tools).
Ensure minimum bank’s exposure to external and internal information security threats and availability of reliable and useful information for decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain a comprehensive Information Security framework, policies and procedures
· Integration of cyber security related proposals during planned acquisitions/ procurement.
· Identify gaps between current information security environment, relevant standards / good practices and the bank’s internal capabilities.
· Identify and communicate information security threats, desirable behaviours and changes needed to address these points to the business and IT
· Identify and collect relevant data to enable effective information security related risk identification, analysis and reporting
· Continuously monitor information security risk levels.
EDUCATIONAL & QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree in IT with GPA of above 3.8 in IT related courses such as Management Information Systems/Computer Science /Information Systems and management / information Technology.
· Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
4. CREDIT ANALYST (TRAINEE)
· Reporting to Head - Corporate Banking. Responsible for processing of credit applications and credit related transactions including disbursements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Appraisal and preparation of credit proposals.
· Analyzing financial statements/feasibility studies/loan requests.
· Monitoring /control/ review of all Credit limits.
· Liaison with Customers, Advocates, Accountants etc.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance and or related professional qualifications with a GPA of above 3.8
· Master’s degree in Business Administration/finance an additional qualification.
· Consistency record in Mathematics at both Ordinary and Advance level
· Candidates with educational qualifications from highly rated schools/universities in Tanzania and abroad will be given preference.
· Graduates/postgraduates of 2016/2017 only to apply
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
· Financial Analysis skills, knowledge of the economy and analytical skills.
· Extrovert who enjoys people inter-action
· Strong language skills-both written /spoken English
5. MARKETING OFFICER
Reporting to Branch Manager, The Marketing Officer is responsible for the coordination and execution of all marketing strategy and networking activities of the Bank to meet the set targets at the Branch
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for the interface and support between the bank and the client or prospective clients
· Meet the set target per month
· Maintaining good customer relationship in order to ensure that customer needs are met and are in line with the strategic objectives of the bank
· To promote and sell all products of the bank especially CASA accounts
· Prospect for new clients and identify market segments in which to sell
· To cross sell the Bank existing products if need arises
· Preparation of Call Reports and follow ups.
KNOWLEDGE
· Bachelor degree preferably in Business/ Management
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE
· Fresh graduates
6. BANCASSURANCE OFFICERS
Reporting to Bancassurance Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for the coordination and management of all insurance products (Life & General).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Act as a liaison between the customers, the Bank and Insurance partners in Bancassurance products
· Implement the Marketing strategy on Bancassurance products
· Assisting customers with issues relating to Bancassurance products
· Following up debts, claims and payment of cancelled policies
· Monitoring the life of the policies
· Preparation of reports on Bancassurance products
· Ensuring compliance with local Insurance regulations, policies and procedures.
· Maintenance of all back office functiona of Bancassurance
EDUACTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree holder with relevant insurance experience / qualifications
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
· At least 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry
· Good understanding of Insurance market in Tanzania and Local laws governing Insurance

7. BANKING ASSISTANTS (TELLERS & FRONT OFFICER)
The position is responsible for effective and efficient customer service delivery and ensuring customers are assisted at all time with both cash and non-cash transactions.
The position represents the face and image of the Bank in terms of quick and efficient turnaround time in service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prime interface between customers and the Bank.
· Ensuring effective and efficient customer transactions are handled with utmost confidentiality
· Assisting customers with issues relating to their accounts and queries relating to cash transactions.
· Verification of all transactions
· Marketing and cross selling of Bank’s products and services to existing, walk in and potential customers.
· Assist in managing front office (banking hall) operations
KNOWLEDGE
· Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance and or related professional qualifications with a GPA of above 3.5
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCE
· Fresh graduates
· Has strong service ethics
