POSITION: Grants Manager


REPORT TO: Director for Finance & Administration

LOCATION: Country Office, Arusha

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall oversee all sub-grant functions, coordinate the entire process of partners solicitations including preparation of grant agreements, monitoring of grant periods and close out of the sub-grant awards; manage the implementation of pre-award assessments to potential grantees and/or partners: carry out financial reviews and project audits of grantees to ensure donor compliance; provide mentoring


Qualifications:
At least five years of progressively responsible experience as grant manager or senior accountant including experience working with NGOs and international donors (required).Holder of a Master's degree in fields (s) relevant to fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities as described above. Preference to Certified Public Accountants; self-driven and strong analytical skills; ability to work under minimum supervision, knowledge of OMB Circular A-110, A-122 and A-133; 22 CFR 226 and 22 CFR 228, QuickBooks a big plus.

POSITION: Human Resources and Admin Officer
REPORT TO: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Country Office, Arusha

Position Overview: The Human Resources and Admin Officer shall work for the successful delivery of HR functions to ensure implementation; compliance and risk management of HR processes and procedures for all of the WEl/Bantwana programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret and communicate various WEl/Bantwana policies, procedures, laws, standards to all staff including proper orientation to new staff; administer, co- ordinate and support staff recruitment process; maintain and update employee's personal files; facilitate the process of staff appraisals with their supervisors; deal with staff general welfare; perform any other related human resource activities as may be assigned.



Qualifications:
At least three years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management and administration and a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; conversant with personnel management and performance management processes; proven ability to build relationships and credibility; strong analytical skills; ability to work under minimum supervision; previous experience working under USAID funded projects is an added advantage.

POSITION: Program and Administrative Assistant
REPORT TO: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Country Office, Arusha

Position Overview: The Program and Administrative Assistant shall perform a wide range of administrative and office support functions for the WEl/Bantwana Country office and provide support to facilitate the efficient daily operation of the organization and its programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as front desk person and perform daily administrative support duties including registry functions, maintaining office supply inventories; maintaining and updating contact lists, filing, and coordinating telephone and conference calls for designated staff; manage appointments and facilitate travel arrangements as well as hotel bookings; schedule and coordinate meetings including note-taking and recording meeting minutes, compile, transcribe and distribute to members; manage program documentation materials.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in front office and administrative roles and a holder of a Bachelor's degree/Advanced Diploma in Business Administration; conversant with proficiency in basic computer applications and office equipment operations; proven excellence in communication skills and the ability to express yourself clearly in written and oral communication is important; time managementorganization skills, and the ability to multitask are a high priority.
